Cookie and Storage Information
DUMB TAX uses cookies, local storage or similar technologies. Strictly necessary storage is limited to communications, security, checkout or a service explicitly requested by the user. Analytics, marketing and other optional storage remains off until demonstrable consent.
| Category | Examples | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | session/CSRF, security, load balancing, cart, payment and consent choice | active only where necessary |
| Preferences | language and optional settings | off unless expressly requested |
| Analytics | usage and performance measurement | off until consent |
| Marketing | remarketing, cross-site IDs or advertising measurement | off; no deployment without approval |
The live table at Configuration pending — draft only lists every key, provider, purpose, category, duration, domain and transfer based on a production scan.
- First-layer controls provide equally prominent “Accept optional” and “Reject optional” buttons.
- Users can select categories and later change them through a persistent “Cookie settings” link.
- Rejection is no harder than acceptance and does not block the core paid service.
- Consent evidence stores banner version, categories, time and a minimal pseudonymous ID—not full browsing history.
- Withdrawal stops optional tags and removes associated identifiers where feasible.
